Introducing the new and convenient eConsult platform at EHMC

Elliott Hall Medical Centre is excited to introduce you to a new pre-consultation platform called ‘e-consult’ which will allow you to access the surgery in a quicker, more convenient way. Here you can seek information for self-help on a variety of conditions, put your concerns in writing to a doctor, and request sick notes or letters. We will aim to respond within 1 working day.

Online Services; The all-in-one NHS app

If you would like to sign up to online services please click here. The NHS app gives patients access to booking appointments, sending econsults, ordering repeat prescriptions, viewing your coded medical records and much more.

The end of the fax machine...

Elliott Hall Medical Centre will cease to use a fax machine with effect from 01 06 19. This is to enhance data security and also to support the NHS Paper Switch-Off program (PSO). Any queries regarding this statement are to be directed to one of the management team..

EHMC Receives OUTSTANDING CQC Recognition - Tuesday 28th March 2017

For all of the team at Elliott Hall, it represents an endorsement in what we do every day; serving our patients; protecting their best interests and aiming to deliver the very best care. Patients' Association

This is a fundamental and integral part of our practice. Established in 1993 it was set up by patients and is run  by patients for the benefit of our patients. It offers many services to our patients and if you would like to know more about their work please look under the patient group tab opposite.

SCR Data Sharing

The data that will be uploaded to the SCR computer will include information such as your name, date of birth address and NHS number. It will also include your medication list and allergies [if you have any].

Two documents explain what will happen. The first link is to a document the practice has prepared from information given to us and the second is the "official" NHS information leaflet. There are slight differences relating to what information will be uploaded.

It is assumed [by the NHS ] that you will agree to this and the data will be drawn from your records automatically and without the practices control unless you opt out. An opt out form must be completed and returned to the practice and can be obtained by clicking here [opt out form].
